What does the room rental include? Room Rental includes tables, mahogany chiavari chairs, all basic china, glassware, silverware, white or colored linens and linen napkins. Upgrades for all of these items are available for an additional fee.
Who prepares the food? Chef Douglas Brown of Beyond the Box is the exclusive caterer of the Orion Ballroom. The Orion has both underground and outside parking available as well as valet.
What other charges can I expect? The Orion includes many event items and services within our package price, such as the rental items listed above. If you are reviewing other venues, please be sure to ask what is included in their venue fee. Some of the other charges that you will have to consider for your event are: Floral, Valet, Security, Wedding Planner, Band, DJ
What about Alcohol? The Orion has a full liquor license and provides a wide selection of bar options for your event. The Orion also prides itself on developing creative and unique cocktails for your event.
Can I have my Ceremony at The Orion? The Orion provides a private ceremony space that can accommodate up to 215 guests. Arrangements must be made in advance for rehearsals.
How many people can you accommodate? For a Ceremony, The Orion can accommodate up to 215 guests. For a reception or seated dinner, the number of guests can vary based on whether or not a dance floor is wanted. With a dance floor, The Orion can accomidate up to 250 guests. Without a dance floor, The Orion can seat up to 300 guests.
